Wear Products

Alumina Ceramics   Wear Resistant Epoxy Linings and Adhesives
Alumina Ceramics
Alumina ceramics offer exceptional wear and chemical resistance as well as mechanical and electrical insulation properties. A full range of alumina ceramic products is available.   Wear Resistant Epoxy Linings and Adhesives
Specific purpose adhesives and wear resistant mortars were developed and are manufactured according to strict quality control procedures.
Lava Tiles   Cast Basalt Materials
Lava Tiles
Locally Manufactured economic linings with similar wear properties to cast basalt but less thermal problems.   Cast Basalt Materials
Developed for slurry or high wear sliding applications, cast basalt is an effective wear resistant material. Cast basalt is available in pipe and tile forms.
Chrome Carbide   Tungsten Carbide
Chrome Carbide
This hard-facing overlay is normally fabricated in the form of liner plates and is applied in areas where thermal variation and/or substrate flexion are too great for alumina linings.   Tungsten Carbide
This material is one of the hardest readily available. It is ideal as a composite lining with alumina in demanding high wear applications.
Silicon Carbide   Polyurethane & U.H.M.W. Polyethylene
Silicon Carbide

Reaction Bonded silicon carbide is one of the hardest ceramics available. It offers exceptional resistance to wear. Silicon carbide is also outstanding in applications where thermal variations occur.

  Polyurethane & U.H.M.W. Polyethylene
The tough, wear and corrosion resistant properties of Linplast 1 make it ideal for some pipe and other linings. Sharp, high velocity particles are normally handled better by ceramics.
Alloy Iron Liners   Concretes
Alloy Iron Liners
600 BHN Cast Iron liner used mainly in pipes where particle energy is too high for ceramics.   Concretes
Abrasion resistant concretes for use up to 900°C. Used for flu gas ducts, sluiceways and for bedding other wear liners.
Mill Grinding Media
Mill Grinding Media
Alumina and Ziconia grinding media is available on request.
