Alumina Electrical Insulators

The complete range of COORS TEK insulators for electrostatic precipitators is available. This includes all shapes and sizes of support, drive/rapper and anti-sway insulators.

The large heavy insulators are still imported from USA due to Coors unique pressing and sintering facilities.

Some smaller items can be made locally.

Iso-pressed alumina has much higher electrical resistivity than porcelain. Mechanical strength is also 4 times higher and resistance to thermal shock is also improved.
